The championship starts on March 22, 2018 until March 24, 2018 from two to nine o’clock in the evening
The three days event being organized and supervised by the Hamdan Bin Mohammed Heritage Center (HHC), has
attracted more than 100 registered participants and they’ve been adapt & train to underwater life beneath the buoy during the training phase pre-tournament preparation period.
The competition is split into three separate categories – professional freedivers, GCC nationals and juniors respectively.

Hamad Al Rahoumi, Head of the Committee for the Fazza Championship for Freediving said “We’ve been greatly encouraged by the sheer number of registered applicants for this latest edition of the Fazza Championship for Freediving,”.
“This higher-than-average turnout should bring out the very best in the participants as they look to set the best times over the course of this weekend.
The Croatian Goran Colak win fazza competition with a incredible time of 11:06.14s which gave him almost a minute to the runner up the pole Mateusz Jan Malina with the time of 10:03.96s. The third place went to the Veljano Zanki with the time of 9:21.02s. And Andrej Ropret with 7:04.95 in fourth place. Alexander Bubenchikov (5:30.51s) ended up in 5th place, Sid Ahmed 6th and Amro Dabash 7th.
